Job Description

Role: Part-Time Receptionist

Salary: Negotiable Depending on experience

Location: Accrington

Days of work: Rolling rota working 3 x full days one week, 4 full days the following week

Hours of work: 8.00am - 5.30pm

Square Peg Associates are working closely with one of the UK's leading manufacturers.

Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for their customers. This is a customer facing role in a busy reception area. The handling of high volume calls or switchboard experience is essential.

We are looking for a friendly, professional and driven person who can offer a high level of service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering the phone, ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times
  • Meeting, greeting and signing all visitors into the company
  • Helping with taking deliveries and post at the front desk
  • Scanning, filing documents, data input and general administration tasks
  • Proactively assist other employees with workloads to ensure a smooth running of the office

Key skills: The ideal candidate would have the following skills.

  • An organised individual with a keen attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Have a positive and "can do" attitude
  • Be computer literate
  • Familiar with Word, Excel and using email
