Facilities Assistant - Leeds

DWF LLP is seeking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to work within the Facilities team in our Leeds office.

Main function of job:

The role is to provide high quality support services which are delivered in a professional manner at all times within agreed service levels.

The post holder will be part of the facilities team which provides a resourceful, dynamic and proactive service to its customers.

You will work 40 hrs per week on a shift pattern covering the hours between 7am-7pm.

Main Duties include:

  • Responsible for providing a proactive and resourceful facilities service.
  • Liaising with key customers in respect of day to day requirements of the Firm.
  • Working as an integral part of a small team in Leeds as part of a large Facilities/Client Support function of the Firm
  • Understanding and utilizing mail room system, including sorting and distribution the internal and external post (including urgent "by hand" deliveries) ensuring it is delivered to the correct practice group/location.
  • Providing reprographic services, including but not limited to copying, scanning and binding completed within specific timelines and charged according to the Firm's procedures.
  • Stationery stock control, ensuring stock levels are maintained, orders are placed to meet the needs of the Firm and supplies are distributed as per requirements
  • Records Management - ensuring the all records are managed according to the Firm's policies and procedures, providing advice and training as required.
  • Provision of general office maintenance, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, hanging pictures, relocating floor boxes, replacing carpet tiles and re-arranging furniture layouts.
  • Provide cover reception cover as directed by the team leader.
