KEYFORT work in close partnership with numerous Universities and Further Education Colleges, providing a comprehensive range of academic and community support packages to students. We put the student at the centre of the support they receive, encouraging independence and aiming to fulfil their ambitions and aspirations.

This is a great opportunity to work with a young man with Muscular Dystrophy attending College who would like to improve his independence. Support will include three hour morning and evening sessions three days a week when the service user is in College and 8 hour days the remainder of the week, including weekends, around 50 hours per week. We are looking for 2-3 Specialist Support Workers to provide support as part of a team so availability on all days is not necessary. Support needs include personal care to assist with toileting, preparing meals, accessing the community and attending social events. We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting independence and making a positive difference to people’s lives.

You will be providing a high quality, responsive service which aims to remove barriers that prevent students from participating in higher and further education.
