You will report into the Finance Director and will be supported by an experienced accounts team.
As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing and developing the finance team towards true business partnership, providing accurate and timely information with clear insight. This is a role for a qualified accountant and people manager who can deliver to strategic objectives.
Additionally, this role will see you taking full technical responsibilities for financial management including statutory reporting, tax computations, VAT, Fixed Assets, Treasury management, corporate governance, compliance and systems management as well as management accounts.
This is not an all-encompassing list of responsibilities and as you would expect from a highly driven and growing business, the role of Financial Controller will continue to evolve.
The right candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA), top 10 trained with excellent technical accounting experience gained in a strong financially controlled environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate drive and ambition as well as being a skilled people manager within the team and with peers.
