Job title: Specialist one-to-one study skills support (SpLD)

Salary: £25 per hour

Contract : Flexible bank contracts

Vacancy Details:

We are recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Study Skills Tutors, who have specific experience of working with individuals with Dyslexia, to undertake support provision to students attending University or College on a flexible basis. KEYFORT work in close partnership with numerous Universities and Further Education Colleges, providing a comprehensive range of academic and community support packages to students.

Typical duties will include creating comprehensive Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and providing support to students as stipulated in the assessment remit on a flexible, zero hour’s basis. You will encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop their skills as far as possible. You will provide expertise in the area of study to help students to develop their learning strategies.

All staff must have professional membership of one of the following:

  • PATOSS (full or associate membership)
  • BDA (full professional membership)
  • ADSHE (professional membership)
  • Dyslexia Guild (member, associate or fellow membership)
