Job Title: Team Leader

Location: Newcastle

Hours : 8 hours a week

Contract: Permanent

KEYFORT work in close partnership with Universities, providing a comprehensive range of academic support packages to students. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Team Leader who will provide essential, hands-on community and education support to an individual. You will be providing a high quality, responsive service which aims to remove barriers that prevent students from participating in higher and further education and will be responsible for managing a team of Support Workers.

Typical tasks could include organising staff rotas, carrying out reviews, academic support, proof reading and exam support, as well as managing a team of support workers. You will also work positively and in partnership with the service user and their family, fostering and maintaining excellent working relationships.

Role Requirements:

This position requires completion of one year of a degree qualification.

You will need the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and be adaptable to change. You will have the ability you use your own initiative and have a person centred approach.

The ability to work to a high standard at all times is also required. Ideally, you will have experience of managing or supervising a team in a care environment.

We can offer you:

Wage: £8 per hour, annual leave pay and development opportunities.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Free training will be delivered in a range of topics relating to the role you are applying for.

You must be flexible and available to work varied shift patterns including evenings and weekends.

Other support types, such as note taking or specialist mentoring may be available depending on qualification and experience.
