Location: In pre-booked venues across the North West. Accountable to: Individual Giving Manager The offer: Pay a basic salary of £25.5K - £27.5 depending on experience with a travel allowance. 41 hours per week average (can vary depending on fundraising location). Main responsibilities: To lead a private sites fundraising team ensuring the in-house activity maximises net income for Royal Voluntary Service. You will recruit, train and supervise a team of Fundraisers to work to KPI's to raise money for their vital services through regular monthly donations. The team will be new and will require your knowledge of private sites fundraising or front line sales to be able to grow the team. You will have the support of another Team Leader and your line manager. They have plans to expand the operation pending the success of the team in Cardiff so there are going to be many opportunities to develop your career within this amazing charity. We're looking for the following: Experience of team leading (Essential) within a private sites environment (Desirable) Understanding and appreciation of the fundraising environment and the value of regular giving and long term donors Experience of training and motivating a team of fundraisers Ability to use onsite Data capture applications (Essential) MS Office packages, Word, Excel and Powerpoint (Desirable) A basic understanding of RVS and what it does as a charitable organisation Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to inspire their team and potential donors. Experience of working to targets and/or managing a campaign with targets, with a 'can-do' attitude and a desire to succeed. The ability to work with minimum supervision, your line manager will be home-based so you and another will be given full autonomy to develop your own fundraising team. You must have passion, resilience and the desire to build a successful in-house fundraising section. You would be expected to still hit your own daily fundraising targets, setting a great example with your results and ethical approach. Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays, with the flexibility to travel on a daily basis, including occasional overnight stays away from home. Due to the continued success within the Oxfam GB in house Face to Face Fundraiasing Campaign, we are currently recruiting for a Deputy Fundraising Manager in Manchester. The Manchester campaign includes Street Fundraising, Lottery Fundraising (private site venues) as well as Innovation (experimental forward-thinking face to face fundraising methods) . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Coach/Senior Team Leader/Team Leader, looking to take the next step in their fundraising career at Oxfam. JOB DESCRIPTION: As Deputy Manager you will be the link between the operational side of the campaign and the teams working daily in the field, setting an example to Team Leaders, whilst maintaining the highest standards of performance and commitment. You will provide adequate cover for the manager when they are on annual leave and will run professional training sessions, workshops, interviews and performance reviews. 35 - 40 hours per week £12 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience You will also be required to lead by example in demonstrating the same values that we wish to see in the people we work with and those we aim to influence.
