The role does not require prior experience in the field, but we prefer for you to have an understanding of the importance of non-profit organizations and some relevant work experience or even university project work. What does the job involve? *As a Face- to -Face Charity Fundraiser you will be at the very front of the charity, working directly with the public helping to generate funds so the organisation can carry out their world-changing work. *You can choose between becoming a street fundraiser (city centre), or a door to door fundraiser (residential areas). *The aim is to engage with the public and inspire people to donate through a long term direct debit donation (a bit like a monthly sponsorship) What are the benefits? *It's a full time job so you will work 5 days per week, Monday - Friday *You can choose between working 10am -6pm or 2pm - 9pm *You will earn a guaranteed weekly salary starting at either £8.75 ph, £9 ph or £9.75ph depending on the charity. *Even more importantly, you will have the opportunity to progress within the fundraising campaign and also within the charity sector and into other industries too.
