Membership Development Officer Reference number: A Location: Yorkshire Coast and Humber (including N Lincolnshire and NE Lincolnshire) Salary starting at: £17,276 - £18,716 per annum Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent The successful applicant will join a dynamic team who are responsible for inspiring, enthusing and recruiting new RSPB members across the region. You will engage and make new RSPB members at a variety of events and locations across the Yorkshire Coast and Humber area. Within this area is the largest tidal reed bed in England and sheer 400ft chalk cliffs with some 500,000 seabirds which including Yorkshires iconic Puffins. The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the RSPB, and will enthuse and inspire members of the public to join the RSPB by telling them about the work that the RSPB is doing to help save nature. The successful candidate will become part of the RSPBs Yorkshire Coast and Humber membership team. This role will involve working on RSPB nature reserves and across a variety of offsite venues recruiting new RSPB members. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate and a Full driving license is essential. Applicants should be comfortable in loading and unloading vehicles, happy to work weekends, bank holidays and when required work unsociable hours.
