A unique opportunity to build partnerships with local councils and adoption agencies for the statutory national matching service for children and adopters. Coram Children's Legal Centre is currently seeking a Coordinator to work as part of a team in the country's only statutory national matching service. We work to match those children waiting to find a permanent family home with approved adopters waiting to be matched with a child(ren). We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to build relationships and engage with stakeholders as required, in order to aid the matching process. You will be expected to organise and attend Adoption Exchange Day events, attending these events will involve overnight stays and working unsociable hours,meet and work closely with representatives from adoption agencies and local authorities to match as many children as possible with the most suitable families. You will provide high quality advice and assistance to service users as to how to give their children/adopters the best chance of success, including supporting the matching journey for each individual case.
